Siamese have been part of our family for more than forty years. Involvement with breeding is a relatively new adventure after discovery that the next closest breeder is more than 300 miles away.

We are registered with the CFA as BlkSandPhnx paying tribute to our first purebred Siamese breeder (pictured in one of the slide frames holding GC Daci at the Seacoast NH show 2024) whose cattery name was BlackSand. The rational for choosing this as a cattery name is somewhat faded given passage of time. Most likely is that black sand can be seen as a key indicator for gold and other precious metals, as they are often found together.

Displayed left is a true best friend, Deedee II, who we hope to meet on the rainbow bridge someday, blessed us with 18 ½ years of amazing companionship. Our first queen is a lilac point queen and a very special name as Deedee III
